Humility of Pythagoras
Pythagoras, after proving the great theorem, offered a hundred oxen to the Muses as gratitude for the inspiration. It was a gesture of humility as well as pride. Every mathematician, scientist and thinker believes that the theorem is a part of a key to the structure of nature itself. The figure deputes the Egyptian Triangle which has sides of lengths 3, 4, 5 units. Incidentally (3, 4, 5) happens to be the most primitive Pythagorean Trios, as 32 + 42 = 52 (See Page Number 13)
